LAKE CHARLES—McNeese softball is in the midst of individual workouts, preparing for its fall playing season which gets underway Oct. 6 when the Cowgirls host LSU-Eunice.
 
McNeese has eight fall contests scheduled with seven being played at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond. The Cowgirls will conclude their fall with its annual Blu/Gold Series set for Nov. 9-11.
 
The only fall road contest slated for the Cowgirls is an Oct. 9^th scrimmage at UL-Lafayette.
