BATON ROUGE – McNeese opened up its 2023 indoor track and field season on Friday at the LSU Purple Tiger with three first place finishes and several in the top three.
Notes:
•
Ondray Miles won the men's 600m with a PR time of 1:19.93… it was his first collegiate win in an individual event.
•
Sakari Famous, the reigning SLC indoor champion in the women's high jump, captured defended her LSU Purple Tiger title with the win for the second straight year after clearing 5-foot-8… she extended her indoor streak to five straight meets in winning the high jump title.
•
Mariah Lee won her first collegiate title in the women's weight throw with a personal record mark of 55-3.5.
• Several other PRs were set on the day:
