COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The McNeese men and women's cross country programs took one stiff competition at the Arturo Barrios against several Power Four programs spanning from coast to coast.

Senior
Jeny Barcenas finished best for the women with a mark of 21:13.7 to finish 119th of 394 racers who finished the 6K.
Rolando Ortiz (senior) and
Ryan McCarthy (freshman) finished 152nd and 153rd respectively for the Cowboys with marks of 24:34.3 and 24:34.4.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls will take a couple of weeks to rest before taking part in the Southland Conference Championships in New Orleans, Louisiana.Â
