LAKE CHARLES – Head Coach Brendon Gilroy announced the McNeese Track and Field indoor and outdoor schedules for the 2025 campaign Friday morning, opening up in Nashville, Tenn. at the Commodore Challenge.
 
"We are excited after our fall Blue and Gold," said Gilroy. "The athletes' hard work paid off and now they are taking care of their finals before they get back to work over the Christmas break in preparation for our season opener January 10 at Vanderbilt University."
 
The Cowboys and Cowgirls will visit LSU thrice over both seasons, twice during the indoor campaign and once during the outdoor portion. They will travel to Rice twice, both times occurring during the outdoor season.
 
Gilroy went on to highlight, "During the indoor season, the squad will also be making a return trip to Texas Tech. The outdoor season also sees a return to the prestigious University of Florida – Florida Relays."
 
It marks the first time McNeese will appear at the Florida Relays since the 2018 campaign which saw two Cowboys take home gold medals at the event. It is an invite-only meet the Pokes will look towards.
 
McNeese is slated to host the McNeese Indoor II & Multi as well as the McNeese Cowboys Relays "Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge."
 
Seniors will be recognized on Senior Day at the McNeese Cowboy Relays at the Bill and Lena Henning Track and Field Complex.
