Lake Charles – McNeese Baseball has announced its 2026 schedule which features 32 home games including a three-game series against Kansas, and a visit to reigning national champion LSU.

Justin Hill who will be entering his 13th season and is the program's all-time winningest coach. "We have a strong home slate, tough road tests, and regional rivalry games that our fans always appreciate."
McNeese will open the season at home against former Southland foe Sam Houston State on February 13-15 at Joe Miller Ballpark, joining the series against Kansas and versus Abilene Christian (March 27-29) for three non-conference home weekend series. Southland Conference play will get underway on week three at Nicholls.
McNeese will have a full slate of non-conference opponents featuring Sam Houston, Louisiana Tech (at LTU Feb. 18, at McNeese April 21), Kansas, at LSU (Feb. 24), Southern (March 3 at SU and March 24 at McNeese), LSU-Alexandria (March 4), UL-Lafayette (at ULL March 11, at McNeese March 31), Prairie View A&M (March 17), Louisiana Christian (March 27), Abilene Christian (March 27-29), Grambling (at Grambling April 7, at McNeese April 14), Dillard (April 8), and at Houston (April 29).
Home conference series includes HCU (March 6-8), Southeastern (March 20-22), UIW (April 10-12), UTRGV (April 24-26), and Northwestern State (May 7-9).
Three of the Cowboys' opponents advanced to the NCAA Regionals last season - Kansas, Houston Christian, and LSU, who won the College World Series against Coastal Carolina.
The conference tournament bracket play will take place May 14-17 with the No. 1 and 2 seeds each hosting a four-team opening round pod. The championship series will take place May 21-23 at the site of the highest remaining seed following bracket play. The series will be played in a best 2-out-of-3 format to crown the champion.
Season ticket renewals will run December 1 through January 9. Single game tickets will go on sale January 15. Fans looking to renew their season tickets are asked to go to the Jack Doland Fieldhouse or to give the ticket office a call at 337-562-4678.
