Cable Announces 2026 Soccer Schedule

Lake Charles – McNeese soccer unveiled the 2026 schedule Tuesday morning with the regular season beginning and ending on the road for the Cowgirls.

Prior to the regular season, McNeese will open with an exhibition against LSU-Eunice on August 6 at 6:30 pm at home.

The Cowgirls will kick off the regular season on the road at Alcorn State on August 13 before returning home for three consecutive games beginning with Southern Mississippi (August 16), Jackson State (August 20), and North Texas (August 23). McNeese would then hit the road as they take on West Florida on August 27 before wrapping up the month of August at home against UL-Lafayette on the 30th.

Prior to the start of conference play, the Cowgirls will hit the road for three consecutive games beginning with a trip to Louisiana Tech (September 6) before heading to Grambling on September 6th and rounding out their non-conference schedule at Sam Houston on September 13th.

McNeese will kick off Southland Conference play on September 17th on the road against Southeastern followed by a home match against Stephen F. Austin on the 24th of the month.

Following that match, the Cowgirls will hit the road to take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on September 27thfollowed by a home match against Nicholls to kick off the month of October.

The Cowgirls will round out their regular season with UTRGV (Oct. 8), Houston Christian (Oct. 11), Incarnate Word (Oct. 22), East Texas A&M (Oct. 25), Northwestern St. (Nov. 1), and Lamar (Nov.5) with HCU, UIW, and NWST coming to Lake Charles.

The Southland Conference Tournament is slated to be held in Commerce, Texas starting with the Quarterfinals on November 10 and the Semi-Finals taking place on November 12 with the championship game slated for November 15.
