LAKE CHARLES – McNeese soccer head coach Alexis Cable has announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the Cowgirl roster for the 2026-27 season, a signing class highlighted by three junior college transfers and the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.
 
The transfer class includes Kayla Pelter (Round Rock, Texas/Seminole State College), Emma Korhonen (Foley, Ala./Holmes CC) and her twin sister, Anna Beth Korhonen (Foley, Ala./Holmes CC).
 
The freshman class features Kenya Corriea (Vidor, Texas/Vidor High), Faith Curtis (Dallas, Texas/Oak Cliff Faith Academy), Sophia Hull (Round Rock, Texas/Round Rock High), Isabella Baltov (Shreveport, La./Caddo Magnet High) and Ashley Guild (Hutto, Texas/Hutto High).
