LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's golf will tee off their fall schedule Monday and Tuesday at the 12-team Payne Stewart Memorial that will be held at the Par 71, 6,001 yards Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri.
 
The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday, also having an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.  
 
Other teams making up the field beside McNeese and host Missouri State will be UTEP, Creighton, Arkansas State, Wichita State, Austin Peay, Oklahoma City, Oral Roberts, Drury, South Dakota, and UMKC.
 
The Cowgirls lineup will consist of senior Sunny Kilian, junior Isabel Huntsman, and sophomores Cameron Newhouse, Bethany Reid, and Maria Garcia.
 
Garcia finished the spring season second on the team with a 78.40 average having played in all five tournaments. Huntsman posted a 79.00 average in her only tournament of the spring. Newhouse finished with a 79.56 average, while Kilian finished with an 83.17 average. Reid didn't compete in the spring and this will mark her second career tournament as a Cowgirl. She last played at the Little Rock Golf Classic last fall.
