Cowboys return home to face UIW in league play

| By:
LAKE CHARLES – After spending the last 12 days and four games away from Joe Miller Ballpark, the Cowboys will return to The Jeaux this weekend for a four-game Southland Conference series against Incarnate Word.

Friday's opener has been moved up to a 4 p.m. first pitch due to potential severe weather later in the evening. Saturday will see a double-header beginning at 2 p.m. with a 7-inning game followed by a 9-inning contest while Sunday's finale will carry a 1 o'clock start.

McNeese (14-14, 8-7 SLC) is coming off a mid-week loss at LSU on Tuesday. That followed a weekend split for the Cowboys at first place Southeastern Louisiana. UIW (12-11, 8-8) defeated Prairie View in mid-week action after dropping three out of four games at SFA.

Admission to all games is free of charge.
