LAKE CHARLES— McNeese softball (19-7) will travel to Ruston Wednesday, March 17 for a 4 p.m. midweek game against Louisiana Tech.  The game will stream on ESPN+.

McNeese, winners of its last four games are coming off a Southland Conference series home opening sweep over Lamar last weekend.
La. Tech (13-10, 0-3 CUSA) will host Alcorn Tuesday night before facing the Cowgirls on Wednesday.

McNeese has five players batting above .300.  Nyjah Fontenot leads the team with a .412 average, 35 hits, 27 runs, and is tied for a team high with five homeruns.

Rylee Cloud (.400), Jadan Muñoz (.357z0, Alexis Dibbley (.323), and Coring Poncho (.329) are also batting above .300.

Freshman Brookelyn Taylor (7-2) leads the pitching staff with a 2.93 ERA, 59.2 innings, four saves, and 47 strikeouts.  Maddie Taylor (6-1) leads the staff in wins and is second with 20 strikeouts.

Elena Heng leads the Lady Techsters with a .444 batting average and 32 hits.  Reagan Marchant has a team high seven homeruns.  Allie Floyd leads the pitching staff with five wins (5-6) and a team low 3.00 ERA.
