Perhaps the best kicker in Southland Conference history, he is certainly the best combined punter/place kicker in McNeese State history. Four times he led the Cowboys in both punting and place kicking and it was his place kicking that led the Cowboys to its undefeated season in 1979, to a SLC title and into the Independence Bowl. Four times he was a first team all-SLC pick and he was twice an all-Louisiana selection. He still holds the school career record in punting with a 41.5 average and in his four years he scored 237 points, making 113 of 118 PATs and 41 of 69 field goals. He lives in Lake Charles.
