Margie Hinton Randleman was instrumental in getting the Cowgirl basketball program on the map.
During her five seasons at the helm (1978-82), her teams won a total of 94 games and posted two 20-win seasons. Her best year came in 1981 that saw her squad finish the year 23-5 behind the play of McNeese Hall of Famer Pat Jean.
She averaged 19 wins a season as basketball coach (94-58) and coached two of the top four teams with the most wins in a season (23 in 1981 and 22 in 1980).
She was the head volleyball coach for the Cowgirls in 1975 and 1976.
