Hall of Fame
An all-American on Cowboy football teams in the early 1980s, he went on to a standout professional career. He played on two conference title teams and in two Independence Bowls. In 1981 he earned all-American recognition from the Associated Press and was named his team’s outstanding defensive player. He also earned all-conference honors in 1980 and 1981, being named the league’s defensive player of the year in 1981, the same season he paced the team in tackles with 79. Guilbeau went on to play in the professional ranks with the New York Jets and Cleveland. He lives in Sunset, LA.
