He was a four year starting right handed pitcher for the Cowboys who led the team in victories in both 1974 and 1975 and in earned run average for those two years plus 1976. He is third on the McNeese all-time list for victories with 22, is second in complete games with 27, third in innings pitched with 294 and his 2.74 career earned run average ranks among the best. In three straight years his ERA never got above 2.90 with a 2.11 in 1974 being his low. Following graduation he entered into the business field and is now a manager of a Nissan automobile dealer­ship in St. Petersburg, FL.
