He played four seasons for the Cowboys and was named the Southland Conference player of the year in 1986-87 when he averaged 21.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. In his junior year he helped McNeese compile a 21-11 record and earn a spot in the NIT post season tournament, the team advancing to the second round after beating Dayton. A three time all-SLC performer, he was also an all-Louisiana pick and was twice named McNeese's MVP. He concluded his career with 1,707 points and 808 rebounds, both on the school's top 10 chart. He was a second round draft pick by the New York Knicks but spent most of his pro career playing overseas. He resides in Lake Charles.
