Hall of Fame
A standout offensive lineman, he was a leader on Cowboy teams from 1966 to 1969. Three times he earned first team all-conference honors in the Gulf States Conference. In 1967 he also served the team as place kicker and booted three field goals, one a 45 yarder. That year he helped the Cowboys win the league title. He also excelled in the classroom as he was a founding member and two term president of the McNeese chapter of Delta Sigma Phi, a national business fraternity. He was also named to Who’s Who. He is now retired and living in Baton Rouge after a career in the insurance business, having owned his own company.
