Chapman played in 39 games and scored 989 points for a 23.0 average, which is the top career average for a Cowgirl. She was a two-time most valuable player and an all-Louisiana selection. Besides leading the team in scoring both seasons she also led in rebounds. Her 15.8 average for the 1975-76 season continues to stand as a school record.
