The McNeese team physician for all sports since 1963, Dr. Drez has treated upwards of 10,000 athletes at the univer­sity. He is a clinical professor of Orthopaedics at the LSU School of Medicine and is also a member of the Orthopaedic Specialists at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. His asso­ciation with McNeese as team physician is the longest such association in the nation. A graduate of Tulane Medical School, he is a nationally renown lecturer and author and has been inducted into the Louisiana Athletic Trainers Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the McNeese Hall of Honor and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve.
